From the results we received from the research questionnaire and from the feedback from our pitch questionnaire we have chosen to carry through idea two. From the results of the research questionnaire we found out that action and psychological thrillers where favoured most and that people preferred thrillers to be set in an everyday setting; after analysing these results with our ideas we felt idea two applied more to the results we gathered as part of it is set in an everyday setting and it also packs elements of an action thriller, and elements of a psychological thriller.
We also gathered information that the best three elements to increase tension in a thriller where flashing images, close up shots and mystery, and again after comparing these results to our ideas we found that idea twos plot included some of them from our initial ideas and also discovered that it would be easy to add in some more of these favoured elements.
From the feedback we got from our pitch we also received more good points for idea two than any other idea supporting the fact that it was clearly our peers favoured idea as well. This should enable us a good thriller opening sequence as we already know we are including elements and features that the majority of the audience like hopefully ensuring it will be enjoyed by most people.
